The next dates for the rabbit control program have been scheduled for 7th August and 8th August between 11pm and 5am on the Front 9 of the golf course. No golf, walking, or traffic is allowed on the Back 9 during the control measures. The Cranbourne Police station have been informed, and permits have been issued for the rabbit control to be carried out by a registered and licensed shooter.
The Club will also:
- Issue a communication reminder before the event.
- Erect signs at entry points for the Front 9.
- Place signs around the clubhouse next to the big practice green to inform members that the control is happening on the course.
This control will be undertaken by professionals with a control permit signed off by the local firearms officers. Additionally, they have been asked to keep as far away from houses as possible during the control sessions.
