Captains Trophy 2021
On Saturday the 27th of March, 80 pairings teed it up in a best ball competition where the top 8 teams would qualify for the match play rounds of the Captains Trophy for 2021. For the past 3 months, the qualifying pairings have been battling it out in a match play format and a knockout draw which left only two teams standing to play the final for 2021.
The final two pairings left were the teams of Matt Marsh / Terry Sleges VS Michael Sweeney / Aaron Daniel. Michael and Aaron proving too strong on the day, beating Matt and Terry in a close match down the first playoff hole. Settlers Run GCC would like to congratulate Michael and Aaron on their fantastic play throughout the Captains Trophy event and well done to all that competed throughout the playing of the Captain’s Trophy, we look forward to another successful event next year!
